Patricia Splawn Brock

Spartanburg, SC- Patricia Splawn Brock, 76, peacefully went home Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Pat was born on March 22, 1936 to the late James Carroll Splawn and Marion Burnett and was the widow of Emory B. Brock. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She is survived by a son, Leonard Bush Brock and his wife Angela R. Kelly of Spartanburg; a daughter, Susan Brock Cannon and her husband Jeff L. Lessenberry of Greenville; two grandchildren, Sara Emory and Patricia Westly Cannon; her sister, Sandra Splawn Heard of Athens, GA. Pat also leaves behind her cherished companion, Bill Bland. In addition to her husband Emory, Pat was predeceased by her brother, Carroll Splawn. A visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Dunbar Funeral Home, followed by a private burial. The family will receive friends at the home of Jimmy and Barbara Brock, 205 Dunbarton Drive at 5:30 PM following the private burial.
