Claudette Edwards Cash

Cowpens- Claudette Edwards Cash, 78, wife of Joseph Albert Cash, died Thursday, August 2, 2012. Claudette was born in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter of the late Jerry Crawford and Clara Mae Mullinax Edwards. She was a graduate of Cowpens High School and attended Converse College. Claudette was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Cowpens, SC. In addition to her husband, Claudette is survived by a daughter, Teresa Cash Harrison of Cowpens; two sons, Stuart Cash of Cowpens, Alex Cash of Falls Church, VA.; a brother, JC Edwards of Atlanta GA; two sisters, Patsy Edwards of Atlanta, and Brenda Souders of Charleston, SC. Claudette was blessed with four grandchildren; Chelsea Harrison, Andrew Cash, Brian Cash, and Michelle Cash. She was predeceased by two sisters; Doris Cantrell, Flo Ivey; and a brother, Eric Edwards. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM, officiated by the Reverend Dr. Robert W. Kirby, Jr. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to Tidewater Hospice for their loving care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 250 Mount Olive Rd., Cowpens, SC 29330.
