John “Johnnie” B. Rogers

Spartanburg, SC – John B “Johnnie” Rogers, 92, Husband of the late Novella Bryson Rogers, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 after a brief illness. Johnnie was born on December 3, 1919 to the late William and Nannie Cothran Rogers. He was a graduate of Wofford College, class of 1948. He founded Rogers Tax Service and was actively involved for over 40 years. He is survived by a daughter; Cindi Dodenhoff and husband Drew of Cromwell, CT. Johnnie was also blessed with one grand dog named Winston. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow in the Chapel, conducted by his nephew, Reverend Cyrus Rogers.
