Earl Leon Deaton

Spartanburg, SC – Earl Leon Deaton, 73, husband of Ann Shurtleff Deaton, died Sunday, July 15, 2012. Born in Spartanburg, Earl was a son of Vera “Tiny” and the late Ervin Guy Deaton. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by three sons, Larry, Randy, and Clifford Deaton; a brother, Jerry Deaton and his wife Eugenia; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Deaton. A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Bethesda Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Holland II.
