James Aaron Couch

Spartanburg, SC- James Aaron Couch, 81, husband of Betty Huitt Couch, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Born July 15, 1931 to the late Loyd and Myrtle Hill Couch, James was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended Wofford College. He went on to honorably service his country in the US Air Force. James later retired from Metromont Materials with 35 years of service in quality control. In addition to his wife, James is survived by one daughter, Lynda Adair (John) of Wetumpka, AL; two sons, Jim Couch (Jan) of Spartanburg, and Eric Couch (Katy) of Ocala, FL; and one brother, Robert M. Couch (Carol) of Andalusia, AL. The family will receive friends Friday, December 7, 2012, 6:00pm-8:00pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. A graveside service will be Saturday, December 8, 2012, 2:00pm at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 126 Fort Prince Road, Wellford, SC 29385, officiated by Reverend Ondra Black. The family will be at the home of his son, Jim.
