James Byrnes Brown

Spartanburg, SC- James Byrnes Brown, 65, husband of Linda Zebley Brown, died on Thursday, January 03, 2013. Born June 20, 1947 in Spartanburg County to the late Walter Joseph and Ruth Taylor Brown, Jim was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1965. He had a love and appreciation for cars, and was a valued car salesman and manager in the Upstate area for many years. Jim was a member of Milestones Church and served as a Mobile Meals volunteer for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jim Brown and his wife, Ashley and their son, Jackson of Pensacola, FL, Zack Brown and his wife, Ana and their children Gavin, Ethan, and Alexis of Greenville, SC, and Nickolas Brown and his fiancé, Danielle Kay of Greenville, SC. Jim was predeceased by his brother, Tom Watson Brown. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 5, 2012, 3:00pm at Milestones Church, officiated by Reverend Hub Blankenship. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Milestones Church.
