David George Fowler

Spartanburg, SC- David George Fowler, 63, died Friday, January 25, 2013 after a brief illness. David was born August 5, 1949 to Catherine Walker Fowler and the late George A. Fowler. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1967, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina, majoring in psychology. While attending USC, David was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, and on the dean’s list. He was a former Southeastern representative for Toyota Motors. David was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his mother, David is survived by four brothers, Dan and his wife, Terrie, Larry and his wife, Kathy, John, and Tim Fowler, all of Spartanburg. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013, 3:30pm at Morningside Baptist Church, 897 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC 29302, officiated by Reverend Dr. Kirk Neely. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
