Lynn Allrich Cart

Spartanburg, SC- Lynn Allrich Cart, 85, wife of John Montgomery Cart, died Thursday, February 21, 2013. Lynn was born April 13, 1927 in St. Paul, MN to the late Arthur Raymond and Aline Grantham Seder. She loved nature, which led her to meet her husband, John, while hiking in the mountains. She was a lover of music, traveling, cooking, exercise, apples, and wine, but more than that, she loved life and her family. Lynn was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Stephen Robert Allrich (Karri) of Salisbury, CT, and John Montgomery Cart, Jr. of Potomac Falls, VA; four daughters, Martha Lynn McDiarmid of Springfield, MA, Nancy Borrett (Craige) of Yonges Island, SC, Margaret A. Reed (Lynn) of Denver, NC, and Katharine C. Crawford (John) of Sullivans Island, SC; two brothers, Arthur Seder (Marion) of Williamsburg, VA, and Grantham Seder of Eugene, OR; ten grandchildren, Robert McDiarmid (Andrea), Jason McDiarmid, Matthew Borrett (Kara), Jacob Borrett (Shayna), Aline Borrett, Julia Nugent, Rebecca Nugent, Max Crawford, Leah Crawford, and Anna Reed; and one great grandchild, Tyler McDiarmid. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 25, 2013, 10:30am at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, officiated by The Reverend Ned Morris and The Very Reverend Craige N. Borrett. Family and friends are invited to a reception immediately following the service at the Parish and Community Life Center.
