Spartanburg- Edith Martin Taylor, 80, wife of William “Bill” Bryson Taylor, died Saturday, March 2, 2013
Edith was born in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Grady L. and Mattie S. Martin. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School. Edith was a faithful member for 58 years of Fairforest Baptist Church.
Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Edith is survived by two sons, Alan Taylor and his wife, Sharon; Martin Taylor and his wife, Susan, all of Spartanburg and a daughter, Sandra T. Seiler and her husband, Jeff of Sylva, NC. She is also survived by a brother Clyde Martin and his wife, Dot, of Aiken, SC. Edith leaves behind a grandson Samuel Seiler, a granddaughter, Lindsay Taylor, and a step granddaughter, Taylor Thompson.
A Graveside service will be held at 4:00 on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Reverend Randy Pettit.
The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
