Edith M Taylor

Spartanburg- Edith Martin Taylor, 80, wife of William “Bill” Bryson Taylor, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 Edith was born in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Grady L. and Mattie S. Martin. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School. Edith was a faithful member for 58 years of Fairforest Baptist Church. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Edith is survived by two sons, Alan Taylor and his wife, Sharon; Martin Taylor and his wife, Susan, all of Spartanburg and a daughter, Sandra T. Seiler and her husband, Jeff of Sylva, NC. She is also survived by a brother Clyde Martin and his wife, Dot, of Aiken, SC. Edith leaves behind a grandson Samuel Seiler, a granddaughter, Lindsay Taylor, and a step granddaughter, Taylor Thompson. A Graveside service will be held at 4:00 on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Reverend Randy Pettit. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Edith’s memory to the Fairforest Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Church Cemetery Fund at PO Box 338, Fairforest, SC 29336.
