Ronald Wayne Comer

Ronald Wayne Comer Ronald “Ronnie” Comer, 70, passed away peacefully Friday, April 12, 2013, in Spartanburg. Son of the late Ida Mae Randal Comer and Albert C. Comer, he is also predeceased by three sisters, two brothers, a son, and one grandson. He is survived by his brother, Keith Comer, Sr. of Spartanburg; children, Brett Comer (Alice) and Brian Comer, both of Cross Anchor, Angela Cannon (Danny) of Enoree, and Ava Comer of Hardeeville; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Comer was a fireman in Naples, FL, and served as Chief in Columbia, SC, before returning home to join the family business. He will be best remembered for his sense of humor and his love of cooking for others. The family will receive friends on Monday April 15, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home.
