Jerry Wayne Moss

Roebuck, SC – Jerry Wayne Moss, 64, husband of Judy Dill Moss, died April 20, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. Jerry was born on December 12, 1948 to the late Paul Thomas and Reamell Waldrop Moss . He worked at Lyman Print and Finishing for over 25 years, Rick’s Express Lube, and Wal-Mart Tire and Lube for 10 years. Jerry sang with the United Joy Singes gospel group and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by a daughter, Kelly Rena Moss of the home; a son, Kevin Moss of Roebuck, son in law, Todd Johnson; daughter in law Crissy Owens Moss of Roebuck, four brothers, Rev. William T. Moss of Akin, Roy E. Moss of Baltimore, Phillip L. Moss of Mississippi, and Samuel T. Moss of Pomaria. Jerry was blessed with five grandchildren, Dustin and Brooks Johnson, Emma, Hannah, Alivia Moss; 2 great granddaughters, Mariah and Aubrey Johnson. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Moss Melone. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Tuesday, April 23rd, at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, April 24th at Canaan Baptist Church.
