Grady Steven Hawkins

Spartanburg, SC- Grady S. Hawkins, 65, husband of Judy Elaine Ward Hawkins, died Thursday, August 8, 2013. Grady was born in Greenville, SC on January 21, 1948 to the late Grady Ansel and Margaret Sue Westmoreland Hawkins. He honorably served his country in the US Army. Grady was a member of Woodruff Church of God. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Jeff, Tim, and Benny Hawkins, and Derrick Howard; one daughter, Mitzie Parker; his step mother, Joanne Hawkins; three brothers, Allen and Wesley Hawkins, and John Mitchem; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 12th, 2:00pm in the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be at the home of Allen Hawkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Woodruff Church of God, Building Fund, 172 Poole Street Ext, Woodruff, SC 29388.
