James Roddotter Brewer

Spartanburg, SC- James R. Brewer, 74, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Born November 15, 1938, James was the son of the late Thurmond James and Sara Louise Lowe Brewer. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. James was employed with Community Cash stores for over 20years, and retired as a supervisor from Thomas & Howard. He was a member of Fairforest Church of God. James is survived by his loving fiancé and caregiver, Brenda Gregory; son, Scott Sellers; his brother, Doug Brewer; beloved granddaughter, Kimberly Brewer; and great granddaughter, Kirah Brewer. He was predeceased by his wife, Patsey Murphy Brewer; and wife, Catherine L. Brewer; and his son, James Brewer. A graveside service will be held Monday, August 12th, 11:00am at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Scott Corbin.
