Spartanburg, SC- Wyleen J. Corbett, 94, widow of Warren Paris Corbett, Sr., died Friday, August 09, 2013.
Born May 12, 1919 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Elmo and Mary Berry Cobb Jolley. Wyleen was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Wyleen is survived by a son, Warren P. Corbett, Jr., of Bethesda, Maryland; a daughter, Cynthia Corbett Beacham and her husband, David M., of Spartanburg, SC; three granddaughters, Anne C. Corbett-Horrocks, M.D., and Samantha Corbett-Horrocks, both of Rochester, NY, and Megan M. Corbett of New York City, NY; and one great granddaughter, Kestrel M. Corbett-Horrocks of Rochester, NY.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, James F. Corbett; a brother, Thomas E. Jolley, Jr.; and two sisters, Sara Cobb Jolley and Virginia Jolley Kraft.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 11th, 3pm at Morningside Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Dr. Kirk H. Neely.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church sanctuary.
The family will also receive friends Monday, August 12th, 3:00-3:45pm at Bowen-Donaldson Funeral Home in Tifton, GA.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 12th, 4:00pm in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, GA.
