Louise Howell Cabaniss

Spartanburg, SC- Louise Howell Cabaniss, 87, wife of the late Fletcher T. Cabaniss, died on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Wesley Court Assisted Living. Born in Lockhart, SC, Louise was a daughter of the late Raymond C. and Sadie Dabbs Howell. She was retired from Spartan Mills and was a faithful member of Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. Louise is survived by a daughter, Debra Young (Russell) of Boiling Springs; two sons, Thomas F. Cabaniss, Jr. (Anne) of Roebuck and Ted Lee Cabaniss (Stacey) of Spartanburg; one sister, Lois H. Vaughn of Lockhart, SC; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 62 years, she was predeceased by one sister, Laura H. Roberts; and one brother, Guy Howell. The family will receive friends today, Saturday, August 24th, 10:00-10:45am at Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the church sanctuary, officiated by the Reverend Tim Hackett. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
