Jeffrey Lynn Clayton

Spartanburg, SC- Jeffrey Lynn Clayton, 52, died Thursday, September 5, 2013. Born April 11, 1961 in Illinois, Jeff was the son of Barbara Jean Dial Clayton and the late Harold J. Clayton. He was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 1979, and was retired from Beverage Air after 18 years of service. Jeff was a former member of Westside Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and served in the bus ministry. In addition to his mother, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 12th, 10:30am in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Dr. D. J. Horton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anderson Mill Baptist Church Building Fund, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore SC 29369.
