Brenda Bergers Roodvoets

Woodruff, SC- Brenda Jean Roodvoets, 87, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Born August 29, 1926 in Lakeview, MI, Brenda was a daughter of the late Cornelius James and Marguerite White Bergers. She was a graduate of Michigan State University where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Brenda enjoyed volunteering for the Salvation Army and with the Pregnancy Center every chance she had. Brenda is survived by two sons, Robert Roodvoets of Woodruff, and Mark Roodvoets of Spartanburg; a daughter, Lisa Cracknell (Peter) of Mill Valley, CA; a sister, Nancy Hook (David) of Ocean, NJ; and her grandson, Connor Roodvoets of Spartanburg. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P O Box 2909, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
