Matthew Clark "Matt" Moore

Roebuck, SC- Matt Moore, 30, died Wednesday, December 04, 2013. Born April 18, 1983 in Spartanburg, SC, Matt was a son of William Clark Moore, Jr. and Ann McCollough Moore. He was a graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 2001, and attended Spartanburg Tech. He was formerly employed with Roebuck Greenhouse and volunteered, in the past, with the Roebuck Fire Department. Matt had a tender heart with a great love for children and the outdoors. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved niece and nephew, Mallory and Noah Moore. In addition to his parents, Matt is survived by his brother, Travis Moore and his wife, Jenny, of Roebuck; his niece, Mallory Moore; nephew, Noah Moore; and grandmother, Virginia F. Moore. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John K. and Sylvia Adams McCollough; and paternal grandfather, William Clark Moore, Sr. The family will receive friends Friday, December 6th, 5-7pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Matt will be held Saturday, December 7th, 10:00am at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, officiated by The Reverend Rob Brown. The family will be at the home.
