Mike PawPaw Lowe

Mike “PawPaw” Lowe, 59, of Spartanburg received his angel wings on December 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with lymphoma. He was born January 2, 1954 in Gaston County, NC to the late Bob Lowe and Bobbie Brown. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Lowe, son, Jeffrey Lowe (Elizabeth) grandson, Mason Lowe, daughter, Christina Lowe (Jeff) and mother, Bobbie Brown. In addition, he leaves behind several biological brothers and sisters and his extended family of brothers and sisters at the HD Klub-Riders for Kids. He was a devoted loving father and husband. His family was his greatest source of pride and joy. He was the owner/operator of Mike’s Contracting. His enthusiasm for life was unique. He was fun-loving, big-hearted and always quick with a smile. He never knew a stranger. He enjoyed fishing and golf but he loved riding his motorcycle. He was a founding member and Vice President of the HD Klub-Riders for Kids, an organization he loved and was dedicated to. He loved to help people and was passionate about helping the children of Spartanburg. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:30 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will be at Fort Prince Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Hope Center for Children, (Spartanburg’s Children’s Shelter) P.O.
