Betty B. Yarborough

Spartanburg, SC- Betty Yarborough, 83, wife of the late William I. Yarborough, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 08, 2014. Betty was born November 13, 1930 in Gaffney, SC to the late James and Mary Milan Biggs. She was retired from Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and was a member of Covenant Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Michael Yarborough (Deb) and Travis Yarborough (Melody), both of Spartanburg; a daughter, Kathy Nyhart (Raymond) of Roebuck; two sisters, Margaret Brown of Chesnee, and Alline Owens of Lyman; three grandchildren, Melissa Yarborough LaNave, Allison Nyhart Hawkins, and Vanessa Case; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. In addition to her husband, Betty was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Howell. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9th, 6-8pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 10th, 11am at Covenant Baptist Church.
