FRANCES DANIEL SLOSBERG
SPARTANBURG, SC— Mrs. Frances Daniel Slosberg, aged 96 years, passed on January 15, 2014.
Born in Stovall, N.C., the daughter of Sallie Davis Daniel and Winfield Crichton Daniel, she was a registered nurse for more than 40 years. She worked in the U.S., Japan, and Hawaii. She also owned a successful cosmetics business in Hawaii for many years. Knitting was her favorite pastime. Many friends and family wear her fine handmade sweaters.
She is survived by her sister, Emma Daniel Burke of Wauwatosa, WI, her daughter Ann Breedlove Meehan, daughter-in-law Jean Slosberg, her grandchildren, Richard C. Meehan (Renee) and Melanie Meehan Glenn (David), her great-grandchildren, Douglas and Kristy Meehan, Slade, Bryson, and Brianna Glenn, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Linwood C. Breedlove, her second husband Max M. Slosberg, her son, Dr. Phillip Alan Slosberg, her siblings Camilla Breedlove, Jo Wyche, and Pete Daniel.
A private service will be held on Saturday, January 18th, at J.M. Dunbar Funeral Home, followed by burial at Lebanon Cemetery in Whitestone.
