Wendy L. Whitcomb

Spartanburg- Wendy L. Whitcomb, 50 of Spartanburg was promoted to Glory on Saturday, January 25, following a seizure. Wendy was a former resident of Rochester, NY. She has lived in the upstate since 2005. Wendy was a daughter of Robert and Arlene Smith of Spartanburg. She attended Southside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Wendy is survived by her daughter, Karissa Whitcomb-Tavey (Mike) of Easley, her son, Colin Whitcomb of Riverside CA; two brothers and a sister. A Memorial Service for Wendy will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at River Hills Baptist Church, Moore, SC. The family will be at the homes of her brother, at 4623 Schirra Court, Spartanburg, or the home of her sister at 16 Irish Moss Court, Simpsonville In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Teen Missions International, 885 E. Hall Road, Merritt Island, FL 32953.
