Jasper Harold Johnson

Spartanburg- Jasper Harold Johnson, 88, husband of Maggie West Johnson, died Friday, February 21, 2014. Jasper was born in Madison, North Carolina. He was a son of the late Carl and Minnie Randall Johnson. Jasper was retired from Kohler Manufacturing after 27 years. He was a member of Stone Station Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of 55 years, Jasper is survived by his son, Dennis of Spartanburg, SC, his sisters, Annie Lou Gore of Pacolet and Nora Lee of North Carolina, and his granddaughter Rebecca Grazel (Jayson) of Gaffney, and two great grandchildren. Jasper was predeceased by 5 brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held today Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Rob Gouge and Pastor Jerry Ford. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Jasper’s memory to Stone Station Baptist Church, 121 Walnut Grove Lane, Roebuck, SC 29376
