Margaret Grigg Cox

Margaret G. Cox Spartanburg- Margaret Grigg Cox, widow of William A. Cox, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 28, 2014 at White Oak Estates. Born in Shelby, NC, Margaret was a daughter of the late Plato Durham and Marcy Ford Grigg. She was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church and was a substitute teacher for Dorman High School for over 30 years. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Ann C. Mobley (Mike) of Spartanburg; a sister Lynn Moss (Art), of Shelby, NC. She was predeceased by her son William R. “Bobby” Cox, two sisters, and three brothers. Margaret’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Magnolia Place of Spartanburg; White Oak Estates of Spartanburg; and Hospice of South Carolina. A funeral service will be held today, Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 2:00 PM, at Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Reverend Ondra Black. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private interment will be held at Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Capital Fund at Roebuck Baptist Church, P.O. Box 490, Roebuck, SC 29376 The family is at the home of her daughter
