Sherrill David Pugh, Sr.

Roebuck, SC- Sherrill D. Pugh, 76, husband of Thelma Louise Wardell Pugh, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 22, 1937 in Pacolet, SC, Sherrill was a son of the late Paul and Mary Lou Mabry Pugh. He honorably served his country in the US Army, and was a carpenter by trade. Sherrill was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens. In addition to his wife, Sherrill is survived by sons, David Pugh (Wilma) of Pauline, SC, Darrell Pugh of Sarasota, FL, and Michael Pugh (Diane) of Roebuck, SC; three brothers, Bobby and Johnny Pugh, both of Spartanburg, SC, and James Pugh of Florida; two sisters, Margaret Eubanks (Carrol) of Spartanburg, SC; and Connie Henson of Roebuck, SC; eight grandchildren; and his special buddy “my heart,” Austin Pugh. He is predeceased by a sister, Diane Mauldin. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 10th, 3:30PM, at Heritage Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Henry Coley.
