Maryland Falor Nyhart

Spartanburg, SC- Maryland F. Nyhart, 85, wife of the late Robert Raymond Nyhart, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Born October 16, 1928 in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Bert Eltan and Georgia Mae O’Bryan Falor. Maryland retired as secretary after many years of service from St. John’s Lutheran Church, and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Maryland is survived by her son, Raymond Nyhart (Kathy); two daughters, Denise Forrester and Melanie Carter (Doug); four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Robert L. Nyhart; a daughter, Mary Nyhart Scroggs; and a brother, Bert “Buster” Falor. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 14th, 11:00am at St. James UMC, officiated by Reverend Chris Barrett. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private interment will be held at Graceland East Memorial Park in Simpsonville, SC.
