William R. Barnette

Spartanburg, SC- William Barnette, 74, husband of the late Jacqueline Bishop Barnette, died Saturday, March 15, 2014. William was born August 28, 1939 in Bostic, NC to the late Jesse and Ada Stacey Barnette. He retired from Arkwright Mills after 39 years of service. William was also a member of the SC Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. He is survived by two sons, Brian and Chad Barnette; two sisters, Mary Campbell and Linda Neuse; four granddaughters, Blake, Drew, Jacqueline, and Mallory Barnette; and one grandson, Noah Barnette. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 19th, 1:00-2:30pm at Dunbar Funeral Home.
