Eloise K. Bishop Spartanburg, SC- Eloise Ruby Kelly Bishop, 91, formerly of Heritage Court Apartments, wife of the late John Alvin Bishop, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Mt. View Nursing Home. Born December 3, 1922 in Spartanburg, SC, Eloise was a daughter of the late Morris and Maude Sprouse Kelly. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, and a member of Arkwright First Baptist Church where she attended the Ester Sunday school class. Eloise is survived by her sons, Dennis (Linda) of Walnut Grove, Jerry (Cindy) of Spartanburg, Tommy of China Grove, NC, and Richard Bishop (Michelle) of Inman; sixteen grandchildren, Tonya Membreno (Tony), Jennifer Atwell (Michael), Christopher Bishop, Kevin Bishop (Brandy), Keith Bishop, Alex Bishop (Summer), Adam Bishop, Marsha Teamer (Alonzo), Chris Bishop, Jeff Morelock (Nicole), Tim Morelock (Amanda), Brandi White (Kevin), Brian Barnette (Ellie), Chad Barnette (Amy), Matthew Butler and Chelsea Bradburn. She was also blessed with twenty-nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Jimmy and Kenneth Bishop; and a daughter, Jacqueline Barnette. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 11:00 AM – Noon at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel officiated by Reverend Michael Bradley. Burial will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck. The family would like to share their appreciation to the staff of Mt. View Nursing Home for their love and care of Elosie.
