Amanda Lynn Eury

Spartanburg, SC- Amanda L. Eury, 28, received her new birthday with the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2014. Born February 14, 1986 in York County, SC, Amanda was a daughter of James Allen and Yvonne Seiler McAlister. She was a graduate of McCarthly Tezler School, a 26 year member of Evangel Cathedral, and attended GraceWay Church for the last year. Amanda was a Disney enthusiast and was able to go to Disney World for her 16th birthday through the Make a Wish Foundation, and she went every birthday after. She was an honorary firefighter for Spartanburg and Greer and played miracle league baseball. Amanda was a special girl who was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Mark Allen McAlister, Richard Glenn Sparks, and Charles Christian Sparks (Kari); two sisters, Crystal McAlister Smith (A.J) and Amanda Marie Sparks Howard; a special sister, 7 year old Madison Marie Howard; Aunt, Sheila B. Roach; niece and very first friend, Tori Webb; nephew, Mason Ray Howard; cousins, Paula Devlin, Jimmy Morris, Christian, Alex, Kaitlyn, and Addison Sparks; and good friend, Martha Ferguson. Amanda was predeceased by her uncle, Alan Roach; and cousin, Manley Morris. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 27th, 1:00-2:00pm at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel. Pallbearers will be the Greer Fire Department. Burial will be held in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
