Mildred Lawson Williams

Mildred L. Williams Cherokee Springs- Mildred Lawson Williams, 78, beloved wife of the late Rosco Williams, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2014. Born in Spartanburg, Mildred was the daughter of the late Albert Dewey and Iva Griffin Lawson. She was a professional seamstress, having taught industrial sewing at Clinton High School. Mildred was of the Baptist Faith. Mildred is survived by a daughter, Debra Parris of Cherokee Springs, and her son, Gerald Williams (Tammie) of Easley. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Nicole Parris (Chad Horne) of Spartanburg, Joey Hendricks of Easley, and cherished great grandchildren Faith and Anzleigh Horne. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Dunbar Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S. Alabama Ave, Chesnee. The family is at the home.
