Elaine Charles Bridwell

Moore, SC- Elaine Charles Bridwell, 64, wife of the late Jerry Wayne Bridwell, died Wednesday, November 05, 2014. Born June 29, 1950 in Glenn Springs, SC, Elaine was a daughter of the late Lewis A. and Iris Eubanks Charles. She was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 1968 and retired from Springs Industries in Lyman, SC after 20 years of service. For the past several years, Elaine was a tour guide at the Walnut Grove Plantation. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. Elaine is survived by her sons, Jason and Eric Bridwell; a brother, Allen Charles; a sister, Judy Burson; and three grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Charles; and a sister, Dottie Koon. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8th, 11:00AM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Danny Emory. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. In remembrance of Elaine, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
