Martha Elizabeth "Mama Mott" Farr

Spartanburg, SC- Martha Farr, 89, wife of the late Raleigh M. Farr, died Saturday, November 15, 2014. Born August 2, 1925 in Enoree, SC, Martha was a daughter of the late Hugh W. and Sophia Golden Murphy. She loved to read and cook, and was an avid gardener. Martha was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her son, David McCutcheon and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Amy M. Lee and husband, Will, Brik D. McCutcheon and wife, Laura, Malisa M. Williams and husband, Trey, and Abby S. McCutcheon; great grandchildren, Hanna, Haley, Chloe, Blake, Robyn, and Joshua; and a sister, Betty M. Turner. In addition to her husband, Martha is predeceased by first husband, Enoch E. McCutcheon; a son, Earl D. McCutcheon; granddaughter, Dana E. McCutcheon; and seven brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 18th, 3:00PM in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
