Sandra Jean Hughes

Spartanburg, SC- Sandra J. Hughes, 58, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, after an extended illness. Sandra graduated from Dorman High School and Spartanburg Technical College. For over 20 years she had a career as a legal secretary. One of her passions was food; Sandra loved cooking and sharing food with family and friends. She was a lifelong lover of music and photography, supporting several local artists. Sandra is survived by her mother, Doris Jean Hughes; sisters, Elizabeth “Beth” Ruth Hughes and Patricia “Patti” Hughes Webster; brother in-law, John William “Bill” Webster, Jr.; and nephew, Jesse William Webster. She is predeceased by her father, George Thomas “Tom” Hughes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
