Gary Scott Shepherd

Spartanburg, SC- Gary S. Shepherd, 63, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Born February 5, 1951 in Spartanburg, SC, Gary was a son of the late Douglas Haig Shepherd, Sr. and Clara Medlock Shepherd. He was a Vietnam veteran who honorably served his country in the US Air Force. Gary is survived by a brother, Douglas Shepherd, Jr. and his wife, Jeri; and his childhood best friend, Roland High. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 15th, 5:00-7:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home. Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, January 16th, 3:00PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
