Barbara Ann Taylor Weathers

Moore, SC – Barbra Taylor Weathers, 69, wife of LD “Buddy” Weathers, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Born in Swainsboro, GA, Barbra was the daughter of the late Horace and Louise Edenfield Taylor. She was a Most Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star, former member of SC Medical Managers Association, served 35 years in the medical field and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband of 53 years, Barbra is survived by her son, Charles “Chris” Weathers of Spartanburg; daughter, Gina Burgess (John) of Spartanburg; and sister, Jean Lyda (Dan) of Spartanburg. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Jeremy and Lindsay Nichols. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 12:00PM in the sanctuary of St. James United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary immediately following the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. James United Methodist Church; 213 North Lanford Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
