Glenn F. Thrasher

Spartanburg, SC- Glenn Thrasher, 81, husband of the late Clara Cudd Thrasher, died Sunday, February 22, 2015. Born March 1, 1933, Glenn was a son of the late Earl and Pauline Shehan Thrasher. He honorably served his country in the US Army. Glenn retired after 29 years of service with the US Postal Service. He was a choir member and Deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Glenn is survived by his son, David Thrasher; daughter, Nancy T. Anderson and her husband, James; three grandsons, Jason Thrasher and his wife, Lori, Justin Thrasher, and James Anderson; and five great grandchildren, Lauren and Emily Thrasher, and Savanah, Katelyn, and Gabe Anderson. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a brother, J.C. Thrasher. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 24th, 2:00-3:00PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. A funeral service with military honors will follow in the sanctuary at 3:00PM, officiated by Reverend Jim Oliver and Reverend Joe Burnett. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
