Faye Ellen Ballenger

Spartanburg, SC- Faye Ballenger passed away suddenly on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Faye is survived by two daughters, Susan Shield (Ken) of Greenwood, and Ellen Thomas of Spartanburg; one son, Michael Ballenger of Spartanburg; former daughter in-law, Roberta Ballenger of Spartanburg; a brother in-law, Harold Ballenger (Georgianna) of Spartanburg; three grandchildren, Kelly Auerhammer (Mark) of Greenville; Karen Sidebottom (Jesse) of Kansas, Kathy Ballenger and her fiancé Eric Hope of Spartanburg; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Will Ballenger, who passed away in August of 2014 after 68 years of marriage; and a daughter, Lisa Ballenger. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
