Harold W. Pye

Boiling Springs, SC- Harold Pye, 75, husband of Marcia Tinsley Pye, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born February 13, 1940 in Spartanburg, SC, Harold was a son of the late Dillard and Ada Pye. He was a kind, generous, fun spirited husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Harold was a veteran whose smile was contagious and whose heart was loving. He was a faithful member of his church and community. In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his sons, Jeff Pye and his wife, Lynne, of Boiling Springs, and their children, Payne Pye and Camryn Lachica; Nick Pye and his wife, Patricia, also of Boiling Springs, and their children, Sydnie Ledbetter (Cameron) and Jake Pye; and Jason Pye and his wife, Teah, of Spartanburg, and their children, Jackson, MaryLovett, and Eva Pye; his brother, Douglas Pye of Chesnee; and his sister, Mary Jane McCoy of Inman. The family will receive friends Friday, March 20th, 3:00-4:00PM at Mountain View Baptist Church, 5555 Parris Bridge Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow in the sanctuary at 4:00PM, officiated by Reverend Tyler Kirby. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
