Lillie Mae McAbee

Linden, AL- Lillie Mae RaVan McAbee, 95, wife of the late Lewis McAbee, died Thursday, April 9, 2015. Born August 26, 1919 in Woodruff, SC, Lillie Mae was a daughter of the late Christopher C. and Corrie Dixon RaVan. She was retired treasurer of Spartanburg Lumber and Millwork. Lillie Mae was a member of Cannons Campground United Methodist Church for many years and was also a member of the Eastern Star Tallulah Chapter #16. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Lillie Mae is preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde and Jesse RaVan; and sisters, Aurie Williams, Viola Koenig, and Gertrude Smith. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 18th, 1:00PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Randell Blackman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cannons Campground UMC, 3450 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
