Donald Paul Lee

Spartanburg, SC- Donald Paul Lee, 75, husband of Diane McElhenney Lee, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born March 24, 1940 in Spartanburg, SC, Donald was the son of the late Dorsey Paul and Inez Groce Lee. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1958 and attended Spartanburg Methodist College, and Wofford College. Donald honorably served his country in the US Army and National Guard. He was the owner and president of Gateway Warehouse. He and Mrs. Lee are members of The Episcopal Church of the Advent. In addition to his wife of 55 years, he is survived by two daughters, Patricia Lee Boyle and her husband, Albert, and Mary McElhenney Dunbar and her husband, John; four grandchildren, Lee and Mac Thompson, Hunt Pack, and John Russel Dunbar; and a sister, Carolyn Lee Comer. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 17th, 4:00PM at The Episcopal Church of the Advent. The family will receive friends following the service in the Parish and Community Life Center.
