Mount Pleasant, SC- Elizabeth Cart Macmurphy Kimball, 91, wife of the late Frederick Osgood Kimball, died Thursday, April 16, 2015.
Born in Charleston, SC on November 20, 1923, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late William Clancy Macmurphy, Jr. and Mary Edmondston Venning Macmurphy. She was a graduate of the College of Charleston and had a long career in banking with First National Bank of SC, which later became Wachovia. Elizabeth was of the Episcopalian faith.
Elizabeth is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Kimball Bohlen and her husband, Gary Forrest Bohlen of Spartanburg, SC; one grandson, Dr. William Frederick Bohlen and his wife, Amy Lynn Sansom Bohlen of Simpsonville, SC; and four great grandchildren, Sylvia Venning Bohlen, Virginia Elizabeth Bohlen, William Frederick Bohlen, Jr., and Charles Albert Bohlen, all of Simpsonville, SC.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Clancy Macmurphy, III.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 25th, 3:00PM in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
