John Davis "Johnny" O'Shields

John D. “Johnny” O’Shields, Jr. Pauline – John Davis O’Shields, Jr., 60, husband of Renae Bishop O’Shields died Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Johnny was born on May 9, 1954 to Juanita Watts McKinney and the late John Davis O’Shields, Sr. He was employed by Spartanburg County Environmental Enforcement, formerly employed with Diversified Machine Tool, and was a former member of the Glenn Springs-Pauline Volunteer Fire Department. Johnny was a member of the Calhoun Masonic Lodge #81 of Pauline and Beaverdam Baptist Church of Mountiville, SC. In addition to his wife and mother, Johnny is survived by a son, Mikey O’Shields of Pauline; a sister, Pam Pettit (Curtis) of Pauline; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Philadelphia Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Greg Butler and Rev. Phil Bryson. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beaverdam Baptist Church Building Fund; 1555 Beaverdam CH. Rd., Mountville, SC29370 The family is at the home of Juanita McKinney in Pauline.
