Harry Jackson "Mickey" Hughey, Jr.

Spartanburg, SC- Harry Jackson Hughey, Jr., 68, died Friday, May 29, 2015. Born November 25, 1946 in Union County, Mickey was the son of the late Harry Jackson and Evelyn Joyce Wright Hughey. He was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 1965. Mickey honorably served his country in the US Air Force. He retired after many years as a restaurant entrepreneur. Mickey is survived by his daughters, Rachel Hughey Gregory (Josh) of Clemson, SC and Caroline Elizabeth Sweeney (Jason) of Hertford, NC; three grandchildren, Caleb and Brantley Gregory, and Grady Sweeney; a sister, Linda Riddle Pritcher (Roger) of Spartanburg, SC; and former wife, Emmie Lou Hughey. Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 31st, 2:00PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, officiated by Reverend Reid Bowyer. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
