Virginia Gee Reynolds

Virginia G. Reynolds Spartanburg, SC- Virginia Gee Reynolds, 75, formerly of Rutherfordton, NC, died Saturday, May 30, 2015. Born July 22, 1939 in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Reynolds was the daughter of the late Milton Carlyle and Mary Purnell Gee. She was a member of The Church of the Advent in Spartanburg, SC, as well as a lifelong member of the Junior League of Greensboro, NC Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her daughter, Mary Virginia Reynolds Davis of Spartanburg, SC; her son, Charles Henderson Reynolds and his wife, Simone Plaisance Reynolds of Asheville, NC; daughter, Ashley Tredway Reynolds Kemp and her husband Jeffrey Allen Kemp of Lithia Springs, GA; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Henderson Davis, Carter Purnell Davis, Henderson James Reynolds, Ella Simone Reynolds, Hoge Charles Reynolds, William Collins Kemp; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Milton Carlyle Gee, Jr. A graveside committal service will be held Wednesday, June 3rd, 11:00AM in Green Hill Cemetery, 901 Wharton St, Greensboro, NC 27401. In remembrance of Mrs. Reynolds, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
