Jane M. Thompson

Spartanburg, SC- Jane Rae Skelton Michener Thompson, 74, wife of Michael Aubrey Thompson, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Born May 4, 1941 in Edinboro, PA, Jane was the daughter of the late Floyd and Velma Skelton. She was a retired nurse and loved gardening. In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by her son, Jim Michener and his wife, DeeDee, of Grayson, GA; her daughter, Barb Cely and her husband, Trey, of Cornelia, GA; a granddaughter, Maegan Michener of Lawrenceville, GA; and grandsons, Chip and Will Cely of Atlanta, GA. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Michener; and a brother, Fred Skelton. Services will be private.
