Daisy Cornell Dean Melton

Roebuck, SC- Daisy Cornell Dean Melton, 76, wife of Boyd Melton, died Monday, July 20, 2015. Born September 28, 1938 in Bulls Gap, TN, Daisy was the daughter of the late Charlie and Laura Gilliam Dean. She was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church and a former member of North Trenholm Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. In addition to her husband, Daisy is survived by a daughter, Sherrie Ross of Greer; five granddaughters; and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Steven Melton. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25th, 2:00PM at Roebuck Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Dr. Tim Williams. A visitation and ice cream social will follow in the fellowship hall. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff of Valley Falls Terrace for their loving care and kindness.
