Carolyn Greene Smith

Roebuck, SC- Carolyn Greene Smith, 81, wife of the late A. E. “Junior” Smith, died Sunday, July 26, 2015. Born August 22, 1933 in Spartanburg, SC, Carolyn was the daughter of the late John Howard and Esther Harvey Greene. She was a lifetime member of Roebuck Baptist Church and a Charter member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class. “Little Mama” was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Carolyn is survived by her sons, Eddie Smith, Barry Smith (Vicki) of Griffin, GA, and Joey Smith; a brother, Norman Greene (Shirley) of Hemet, CA; a sister, Nancy West (T.J.); sister in-law, Nancy Jane Greene; grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Jason, Chad, and Dustin Smith, and Dana Brown; ten great grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews; and her devoted companion, Harvey Kirkland. In addition to her husband, Carolyn was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Greene. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service Wednesday, July 29th, 3:00PM at Dunbar Funeral Home.
