Rachel S. Thompson

Rachel S. Thompson Moore, SC- Rachel Skinner Thompson, age 27, wife of David B. Thompson, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 21, 2015. Born August 23, 1987, Rachel was the daughter of Gerald Dwayne Skinner and Cindy Sweat Jenkinson. She was a graduate of Dorman High School, class of 2005 and was attending Spartanburg Community College to pursue a career in nursing. Rachel was employed with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in behavioral health services. In addition to her husband and parents, Rachel is survived by her grandmother, Lois C. Skinner; step grandmother, Cathy Raines; step father, Banks Jenkinson; and her beloved canine companion, Zoey. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 25th, at Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, 2-3PM. Funeral services will follow at 3PM in the sanctuary. Interment will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. In remembrance of Rachel, memorials may be made to the Heart Center at Spartanburg Regional, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
