Dr. Jean Ellen Parrino

Dr. Jean Ellen Parrino Spartanburg - Dr. Jean Ellen Parrino passed away November 18th, 2015. Jean was born and educated in the San Francisco Bay Area, attending Burlingame High School, University of the Pacific in Stockton, University of California San Francisco for Dental Hygiene, and University of the Pacific in San Francisco for her Doctorate in Dental Hygiene. After living in California and New Mexico, Dr. Parrino practiced painless dentistry in Spartanburg for many years. She was an ardent lover of horses, dogs, antiquing, and surprising friends with baked goods. She is survived by her two children, Rachel Johnston and Mark Johnston, and was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Lois Stefurak, and twin sister, Jane Styka. For those who wish to honor her memory, her family asks that a donation be made to the Spartanburg soup kitchen and that extra attention/ treats be given to your pets on this day.
