Dale Melvin Sanders

Spartanburg, SC- Dale Melvin Sanders, 91, husband of Juanita Parker Sanders, died Friday, December 11, 2015. Born August 30, 1924 in Blacksburg, SC, Dale was the son of the late Dave and Elizabeth Ervin Sanders. He honorably served his country in the US Army during the European Theatre of WWII. Dale was a licensed funeral director for over 40 years. He was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by his daughters, Catherine Cunningham, Robin Osteen, and Julie Poole; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Grace Cash and Earle Turner. He was predeceased by a son, Mark Sanders. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 15th, 2:00PM in Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In remembrance of Dale, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 316 S. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
